I’ve been photographing for the Heart Gallery for a few years now. As a professional photographer it is always great to give back to the community. It feels good inside and helps out children who is less fortunate. We can take the things for granted sometimes and don’t realize how lucky we really are.

The Heart Gallery of Broward County is a traveling photography exhibit of foster children who are waiting to be permanently adopted. The Gallery displays art exhibit to get these faces out there and hopefully find them a home and love. After all home is where the heart is. There are 120 Heart Galleries across the United States. Although many of the children were removed from abusive and neglectful situations, they still have hope. They love to laugh, learn and be with their friends. Most of all dream of finding a forever family to be their own.

The Chill Feel of the Key Bahia Florida Keys

The past two days gave south floridian a chill feeling. Beautiful days and chilly nights. Soak it up before the summer hits us hot! Well Here is a different feeling of Chill or should I say Chilling in the Keys. We are so luck to be able to escape to the south Florida Keys, whats your pick? Key West, Islandmorada, Key Largo, Duck Key, Marathon and many more depends on your perpes and how far you wanna drive. These shots were taken on my journey home after a destination wedding in Key West. By the 7 mile bridge there is a national park in Bahia Mar. I love traveling and taking the road less taken. Being free spirit and stoping whenever you want. I like stopping where ever I see a vision or a feel. Thats whats great always having a camera on you. To be quite honest I kinda feel naked without it been photographing so long it becomes apart of you. You see light different. I love to capture it cause even when you photograph at the same location. The feel maybe different of the image. It really is like capturing time. And like time you can’t go back to that moment to that feel. I wish I could capture everything but I have to remind myself that I can’t capture everything and have to capture it in my mind and enjoy what is before me. Life, Memories, Visions, Feelings, Art of Nature. I do like to stop at some national parks and I like to pick them whenever. I do have a few on my map thats on my list as as a must like Yellowstone, Joshua’s Tree and many more if you have any recommndations please feel free to share your experiences and share images or links. Would love to see your journey.

I love photographing nature. The world is beautiful. I appreaciate and grateful everyday. I love capturing art and feeling of the vibe of the location. I was given a gift to the world and I want to share it with you! If the images are not seen then they lose there meaning. Thank you for the time to see my vision.

What’s going on VIRGINIA KEY GRASSROOTS FESTIVAL OF MUSIC, DANCE AND ART IN MIAMI FLORIDA FEBRUARY 9-12. Four Days – Four Stages and over 50 Bands will be playing at this awesome festival going on right here in South Florida. I will be photographing this event so I will see you there. There will be Artist live… and one of my favorites going to be there Kazillia love love her work. Come fill your cup by camping out in the beautiful keys while enjoying LIVE MUSIC along with ART, FOOD, WORKSHOPS, BEER GARDEN and of course POSITIVE PEOPLE with a POSITIVE VIBE.

Febuary 9- 12, 2012 - Virginia Key, Miami

The Virginia Key GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance is the inaugural winter season GrassRoots Festival and will be held at Miami’s Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. The Virginia Key GrassRoots Festival joins New York’s Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival and North Carolina’s Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival in a not-for-profit festival triumvirate that spans four seasons. Founded 22 years ago as a not-for-profit supporting arts, education, and the fight against AIDS, the GrassRoots Festival Organization has grown into a multi-dimensional and multi-state platform for community engagement.

The four-day camping event will showcase some of the world’s most amazing and respected talents from over 50 performing groups whose genres include: Roots Rock, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Latin, Funk, Cajun, Bluegrass, African, Kompa, World Beat and Zydeco. The fest will include a Kids’ Village with interactive programming and a Healing Arts Area hosting daily movement workshops, massage and other bodywork modalities. Local and visiting artisans will showcase and offer for sale their handcrafted works in the festival’s Crafts Area. There will also be a Beer Garden, featuring Florida Beer Company craft-brewed beer. One of their four stages is a 1,000+ person dance tent complete with dance floor and dance workshops. In this tent we will feature Zydeco, Salsa, and a few electronic DJ sets from DJ Bill Kelly and others, of the Winter Music Conference, as well as many other acts from across the spectrum live music.

This is a community involvement driven event, which means they have plenty of volunteer opportunities for people to come and earn a ticket and work alongside their staff to make this festival a success. There is a volunteer sign up form on their website for anyone who is interested.
